AMBRIDGE — After depositing $64 in a new Citizens Bank checkingaccount, an Ambridge human wrote checks totaling more than $870 toborough businesses, according to an Ambridge military report.

Timothy George Sepella, 27, of 515 Merchant St., Second FloorApartment 1, used the checks to purchase Chinese food, illness food,clothing, eye caring and a runner cleaner, according to thereport.

Sepella is confronting 5 counts of burglary by deception, 5 countsof fleeting bad checks, two counts of burglary of services and twocounts of theft, according to justice records.

The charges add a $42.58 takeout demand from the MapleRestaurant, 463 Maplewood Ave., that brings his complete debt toAmbridge merchants to $916.23, according to police. He told acashier on Nov. 13 that he had lost his allowance and wouldreturn, and told her his name was John Thomas and left a counterfeit phonenumber.

Ambridge military Officer Jeremy B. Davis went to Citizens Bankand schooled that Sepella non-stop his account on July 8 with adeposit of $64.62, never done other deposit, and then closed iton Sept. 14.

Other incidents, according to police:

* On Oct. 8, Sepella paid for a Hoover Spin Scrub runner cleaningmachine from the Ambridge Sweeper Center, 1231 Merchant St., with acheck for $211.99.

* Also on Oct. 8, Sepella purchased wardrobe at Charles Men’sStore, 541 Merchant St., with a examine for $166.80.

* On Oct. 10, Sepella wrote a examine for $85.29 to Dewalt’sHealth Food Center, 813 Merchant St.

* On Oct. 11 Sepella returned to Dewalt’s and wrote a examine for$64.43.

* On Oct. 18, Sepella used a examine for $269 at The Eye Center,644 Merchant St., and then used a examine for $75.95 to pay for foodat the Ambridge China House, 2316 Duss Ave.
